Notes

Ahhh Brighton, the gay and glorious seaside! The place, as Lydia says, “to get husbands,” (assuming husband hunting is something that floats one’s boat). Using a variation of traditional Print O’ the Wave lace, these sea-themed and somewhat flirty mitts would have been just the thing for catching a hapless male eye while coquettishly peering over a fluttering fan… although really Lydia, Wickham? Are you sure you want to waste these lovely mitts on him?
In Spud & Chloe Fine, a buttery soft, lofty & springy yarn which crosses gauges well. The instructions are the same for ladies’ petite, small & medium only the gauge is changed for each size so choose the one that best suits your needs.
