Isle of Skye- again! I can’t begin to count how many times I have revisited this tartan, it is an all-time fave and most requested. Literally hundreds of yards (for real!) Kitchen towels in good ‘ol tabby, sett at 20 epi/bpi in 8/2 cotton. Other towels just off the loom for this event: (laying on web, 2nd from top photo L to R: Clan Cian O’Carroll, Freemason’s Universal, SLC Arts Council, Isle of Mann, Washington State). Bottom photo answers the oft asked question “how do you always get your selvedge edges so nice and straight?” A:Not always but I do try, end delivery shuttles and a good temple kept close to the fell are a big help!
