Liam’s hat is just the basic ear-flap with spikes all over in every shade (It’s rainbow week at his school- it was his big brother Elliot’s idea to customize his hat with multi-bright spikes).

It was kinda fun making all the little I-cord spikes but placing them just right was a little fussy, still in all a fun project, especially because he loves it & so do the teachers at his pre-school!

Notes: Each point starts out with 9 sts, decreased by 1 st every other rnd (decreases spaced randomly) until only 2 sts remain. They were all stuffed with wool & whip-stitched in place with the c/o tails.
