I decided to make a baby size groovyghan. I love the large ones, but I prefer the smaller projects. One day I will make a big one, depending on how this one turns out. I can’t decide if I should do the ripple edging. I love the way it looks in the finished projects, but I will already have so many ends to weave in.

Feb 2012: Finished. Not too happy with the result because it was too hard to get all the squares the right size. If I am going to do this again, I will have to choose a different join as you go technique or sew the squares together. (Noooo!)

Jan 5, 2012: In progress. I am going to start on the short stripes today, perhaps a short ripple pattern rather than straight stripes. I can’t decide if I should do another set of granny squares or pick another pattern of square to add on the other side. Hmmm….
