Think the pic is coming across is too blue. Should try to tweak it more. It is purple & greyish purple.

Wanted to make something for my neighbors who are expecting a baby super soon. Went looking & found this. Figure it’s a cardigan is always good. Think I finished it before the baby arrived thankfully!

Ordered more of the large Chiagoo interchangeable cords as I think the rest are in other projects.

Was just going to follow the pattern but seaming sleeves…meh. Laugh Decided to magic loop the sleeves.

Tried with an 8” cable. Not really working! Put non-sleeve stitches on another needle to use a longer cable for magic loop.

For the sleeve decreases, I did as a purl row. Cast off the cuffs with the stretchy bind off done tighter than I would with a shawl mostly because it’s what I thought of, but probably could have done a standard knit over knit sts.

Love that the pattern gives st counts after increase & decrease rows. Makes it super simple.

Worked out well that my yarn ball started to unwind. Got a section of the purple from the end to add to the body of the sweater. Really thought it was going to worked out perfectly, but ran out of the purple half a row before the bind off on the second sleeve! If it wasn’t a gift, I would have left it with a row & a half of the next color but started with the yarn from the end so the sleeves are all one color.

Only thing I don’t love about it is the buttons are a bit too small for the button holes. Was going to put three buttons but opted for two since I don’t think they are going to stay closed. Need to get it to my neighbor!
