Decided to go with a super simple charity scarf for the first project on my new-to-me LeClerc Medico table loom with a floor conversion kit.

Wound the warp & then decide to add a bit of color here & there for stripes. Also allowed me to play with pattern. Like the results.

Tied up the 5th & 6th as 2/4 & 1/3. Kept direct tie ups on 1-4. Thread the heddles in descending 4-1 as suggested in the Craftsy class & also is the setup for The Handweaver’s Pattern Directory by Anne Dixon. I like the way that works as I am a righty. It is easier to thread that way.

Feel like I am still learning the loom. Some wonky edges on some spots. But I think that may be more about not getting the warp on very evenly. Made a few mistakes when putting on the warp. And I think that is why it happened.

Learning about the loom. Definitely enjoying it. And like having the treadles as they are faster than the levers on a table loom. Faster process. And I think I like the Medico.
