Notes

A friend passed away suddenly. This was one of her WIPs. I will finish it.

ME suggested we give it to her MIL who’s an awesome woman. Great plan.

Also ME recalled it was Shawl in a Ball. Otherwise I wouldn’t have a clue what it was!

Gifted to Julie’s MIL who loved it! So glad!

ME sent it with the awesome blankets that she & the local Skyline Hookers group put together. I only got a few squares knit in time.

Using Up the Yarn

Since I was finishing this for Julie, I spoke with ME about what to do as she knew Julie better. She said that she thought Julie would have stuck with the pattern as she wasn’t a confident knitter. But that ME is a fan of using up.yatn as am I. So I used as much as possible.

I also think bigger is better with shawls. And since this is a comfort piece for Julie’s MIL, I was glad to go a bit bigger.

The pattern is very easily adaptable.
