I was sure the lace side was going to stretch a ton when blocking, so I made the interior pouch a little long. Sure hope I was right or it’ll look a little absurd.

My initial finishing plan was to graft it all together with one Kitchener stitch. Sort of a k2tog-inspired thing. Grafted the inner pouch, but when I got to the combining stitches it seemed unnecessarily complex. So I switched to the 5-needle bind-off for combining the four pieces. When I got to the end of that section, I determined the inner pouch’s seam looked silly next to the 5-needle BO. Frankly, the visible seam gives the bag a structure it needs. So I ripped the whole thing back and did a 3/5 needle BO.

Now I REALLY hope the lace blocks out longer bc it looks a little weird and bulbous right now.
