So I made myself an Icelandic sweater a few weeks ago and I had some leftover wool from that project. I have been trying to figure out what to do with it and I finally decided to make Evelyn a sweater. I knew I wasn’t going to have enough wool to make the sleeves so I made a version without sleeves. I also worked top down instead of bottom up. I put the sleeve stitches on waste yarn and then came back and worked a few rows in garter stitch to finish the sleeve.

I think it turned out cute. It will be a good layering piece this winter.

I really do enjoy this pattern.
