02/05/2014 — So… either I didn’t knit the straps long enough or didn’t pick up enough stitches along the armholes & neck. There’s no way a baby could fit his giant head through that tiny neckhole :-\ Darn.

02/03/2014 — Finished knitting the body. Now just need to pick up stitches & knit 1×1 rib around the armholes and neck.

01/31/2014 — My cousin is turning 1 in two weeks so my aunt asked me if I could knit him some socks. Well, I’m going above & beyond socks… because knitting. Now, he’s a big boy (at 12 months, he wears 18mo clothes) so I’m knitting him this vest (in a single color) using DK yarn and slightly smaller needles than called for. I’m hoping to get a cute little sweater vest that’ll fit over his cute, pudgy little torso.
