I’ll give this sweet little sweater to Serena later this year, since it looks like at least a 9-12 month size. I’ll definitely knit this pattern again and again!

Some notes:

• Knit at a gauge of 5.5 sts/inch
• I wanted lots of buttons on this so I did the buttonholes every 4 ridges
• Omitted the lace pattern because of
  the variegated yarn and went with
  plain ol’ stockinette
• Knit in garter stitch for awhile past the last increase row, to about 1” before splitting for sleeves
• Alternated skeins because they were significantly different
