(Thanks to my Significant Other for modeling this neck warmer for me! It isn’t my favorite look on him, but I certainly do appreciate his willingness to be my model. And I always love looking at his beard. ;o)

This was one of my first knitting projects—after I started back with knitting—that used a stitch other than just plain knit and purl. It was fun to try something different—and since I apparently have a brain glitch that makes counting very challenging for me—I still enjoyed the effort … mostly.

Used “Arizona Sunset” plus some leftover fuzzy deep pink yarn (Brunswick’s (Windmist“) from an afghan I started years ago). The two radically different yarn weights and textures is quite evident. This was a total experiment and the results are kinda ugly. But there you are!

Took the stitch pattern from a dishcloth design I found online. I’ve linked my project to a pattern on Ravelry (Wicked Eyelet Ribbed Vest) which shows the stitch in a finished garment.

Another close pattern to this that I’ve seen on Ravelry is seashoreknits Shell Socks using the Donyale Socks pattern by Black Dog Designs. seashoreknits’ socks rock!
