This Mile a Minute or Strip Afghan pattern is called Autumn Lace Afghan designed by Rosetta Harshman. Thanks to a group called the “Pattern Detectives Group” here on Ravelry I was able to find the pattern pictured here and where it came from.
The magazine it came out of, is called Crochet Home Number 68 Dec-Jan 1999 . Issue #68. Here it is with the confirmation being the picture of the afghan on the cover of the magazine.
