I changed the pattern of the pillow a bit by adding 4 rows of sc after the center flower popcorns.

The pillow shams were so very plain before I added all of the trim as shown in the bottom photo.

I crocheted the Pom Pom Border Edging to my pillow shams by hand sewing them on.

I hand sewed the doily onto the front of the pillow sham all around the outside edge.

Finished off with a leafed rose and safety pinned it to the underside of the pillow sham for easy removal when washing.
