I had taken a long break from this project, but now I’m back at it again. Doing so many popcorns can become very tedious.
Hoping to be done soon.

This is very dimensional, soft and puffy. It reminds me of the Vintage Chenille bedspreads. I’m not done yet, but absolutely loving this vintage popcorn square pattern!

I have made a few changes to the pattern to tighten it up a bit better.

I’m using a G hook for the center flower in the beginning of the square, then I switch to an H hook for the rest of the square.

My Popcorns consist of 6 dc instead of 5 as the pattern reads.

I changed the pattern on Row 3.
The change consists of 3 dc in space, ch1 and then 1 sc into the popcorn, ch1, popcorn in the next space, ch 3, popcorn, ch1, 1 sc into the next popcorn. Repeat all around.

I’m getting around 5 squares made per skein of the Red Heart Light Periwinkle yarn.

My change to the The White Filler Flower that joins the 4 squares together is being made with a 4.5mm/7 Hook size with 8 dc popcorns around, then slip stitch between popcorns all around and slip stitch, chain 1 and slip stitch all around a second time and tie off.

The Motif Joinings begins on Row 7.
I am using a chain 3 and then braid through the other side. Similar to the Flat Braid 3-Ch Crochet Join Tutorial
