A friend asked me for a red hat with white trim. This request instantly made me think of a Santa hat, which meant my quest would be to make it not look like a Santa hat.

I finished this hat over the course of two evenings. Then it sat on a styrofoam head for a month waiting for me to weave the ends. I hate weaving ends, but I like this hat.
