This pattern is AMAZING!!! The only areas to seam are the little holes that result from the joins. The pattern is so well written. This is definitely one of those patterns where you have to TRUST THE PATTERN. The construction is absolutely genius! I loved everything about this sweater! I can’t wait to knit another one of Ainur’s patterns.

08.24.2021 - I did go back and shorten the sleeves. I like it better than the cuffs being long and folded. I knit the i-cord bind off at the hood a little too tight but there was no way I couldn’t (I know that doesn’t make sense but…). I wish I did my bind off on the hem just a little tighter to bring it in a bit. Since there’s so much ease, it shouldn’t have been a problem getting it on and off with a tighter hem.

08.21.2021 - OMG…SO IN LOVE WITH THIS!!!! It grew quite a bit so the sleeves are too long (I did knit them 1.5” longer than called for so that’s my fault). I’m gonna rip them back so I don’t have to roll the cuff. I added 2 additional purl sections to make it just a bit longer.

08.19.2021 - I am so in love with this pattern. I’m on the hood shaping now. There was so much thought and detail that went into each part of the construction. It’s just so amazing. At each step, I have just been so blown away at how cool it is!

08.17.2021 - the construction of this knit it genius! My gauge is tighter than the pattern (as usual) so there’s a small chance I’m gonna run out of yarn. I’m glad I decided on the size small. Starting my second sleeve and I still have 4 more skeins left.
