MATERIALS
US 5/3.75mm needles

Approx 10 yd/10 m 8-ply/dk weight yarn

Metal Tube (I bought mine from etsy.com - search curved metal tube in the supplies category and you’ll find heaps to choose from. Mine is a 10mm diameter.) I bought this one.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. I-cord
With MC, CO 3 sts. Do not turn work.
Slide these 3 stitches to the other end of your dpn/circular needle. The working yarn will now be at the “wrong” end of your work. Pull the working yarn tightly across the back of your work and knit all 3 sts.
Repeat this round until the i-cord is 25”/63.5cm - or desired length.
BO leaving a tail.

2. Poke one end through your metal tube.

3. Tie the yarn ends in a bow to join together. This will make is easy to undo and update with a different colour when you want a change.

4. Hide the bow/join in the tube and voila all done.
