First placemat (lower of two in photo 2): sport-weight weft yarns including Nature Spun Sport, Tiur, and others.

Second mat (upper one in photo 2): worsted-weight yarns including Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted, Araucania Nature Wool, Brunswick Germantown, and other mostly vintage knitting worsteds.

I was copying some lovely placemats I saw recently on a trip to Spokane. This is my first attempt at weft-faced weaving, and I love it!
