Notes

The 2nd of 3 commissioned infinity scarves from Kate McKenny for her 2 daughters and daughter-in-law.

Maggie is a Theta (Kappa Alpha Theta), so Kate wanted to go with the black, gold, and yellow theme.
From Kate:
“…she has been involved in Theta advisory and boards every since college. She is on their International Board as director of leadership development (which she also teaches at University of Minnesota). She also was responsible for putting together the service program at one of the private schools in MSP”

Sounds like Maggie is making a big impact on lots of lives! I hope she wears her new Theta scarf with pride when she sets off to do all the good work she is going to do.

So for this pattern:
Cast on 91 stitches on 19’s, I join by knitting the 2 end stitches together, resulting in 90 total.

Knit 2 rounds with 2 strands Ghost (held double)
Knit 1 round with the coyote replacing 1 of the ghost strands
Cut black.

Join 1 strand Imperial twist, 1 strand Borealis, 1 strand of Tassel FX to add the gold fringe. Knit 10 rounds
(halfway through I actually did 1 round with only the imperial and 1 round with only the borealis, but I decided I liked the mix look better)
Return to knitting with 1 strand Ghost and 1 strand coyote- knit 1 round
Cut the yellow/brown.

Knit the last 2 rounds with just the Ghost, then the final round to bind off.
