Commissioned work from a dear friend, Kate McKenny (@nanainthegables)

Size 19 needles, cast on 91 stitches and joined in the round. I knitted & purled in the round to create the ridges. 4 ridges with the grays, 8 ridges with the Noro (and I often held the eggplant Rowan Lima with the Noro to keep it purple enough and add some luxuriousness to it), then 4 more ridges with the grays. In one set of the grays I used furrari to add some fuzz and halo, in the other set I used the whimsy for fringe. This scarf is lovely and elegant, accomplishing the goal of eggplant & gray colorway with a few other colors mixed throughout.
I chose the Noro because these are friends from Japan, I thought it would be a little more sentimental.
