Chunky Yarn Pattern

Alteration of the original pattern for chunky yarn.
Knitted with chunky yarn and size 17 needles on a 16” circular for faster make up. As I now have orders from everyone I know!

Pattern:
Cast on 29 stitches, join in the round to make 28.
K1 P1 for 2.25 inches (4.25 if you want to make a folded brim).

Knit in the round (stockinette) for an additional 6.5 inches. Total hat height will be 11” if you’re making a folded brim (hot pink in photo - that was also kitted with K2 P2 rib) or 9” if you’re making it without a brim (light pink in photo).

I bound off in kitchener on the right side in order to tuck in the seam.
