Body :

Because I have a long torso, I worked in st st until cardigan measured 4” from under arm.

I worked the cable ribbing pattern 11 times and I used Elizabeth Zimmerman’s sewn bind off.

Sleeves :

Knit 59 sts/row for 4”.

Row 1 : K2tog, knit to 2 sts before end of row, SSK
Row 2-6 : Knit

Repeat 5 times until there is 49 sts left.

Knit 35 rows.

Inc. 1 and start pattern.

Button bands :

Pickup 84 sts / did 9 button holes.
