It dried exactly 3 days and when it’s finally dry, the weather is ghastly so no pics…
As usual, I am unable to follow a pattern - this time was intentional though because I had only a limited amount of yarn and I knew I would not be able to get more of it. Firstly, instead of sewing the pieces together, I knit sleeves up to underarm, body in one huge piece and then joined them, beginning the raglan decreases. The hood “seam” is actually k2tog, k, k2tog, turn, purl3 - I like the look of it. I shortened the body considerably to use less yarn and therefore just improvised a big part of the chart. It was very, very, very quick knit - if it took me more than a year to finish, it was because firstly, I am very good at procrastinating and having 1 000 000 000 WIPs, secondly, because I actually knit it twice : after having finished both sleeves and arrived to the point where they had to be joined to the body, I had only 2 balls of yarn left. I therefore undid everything, put it on hold for several months and picked it up again when I finally managed to find a yarn similar enough to be used for cuffs, flowers and seaming. I am rather happy with the result, also because the slight colour difference looks intentional and makes the details really pop. It’s really cosy but I am considering adding the lining for extra warmth and also to help it stay in shape. But this is a totally different story…
