Notes

Great fun! Brilliant for flopping down in front of the TV at night, it keeps you warm as you knit.
I gathered a big bag of leftovers, cast on 502 stitches and armed with a dice, knitted with whichever yarn came out when I dipped in. I threw the dice to determine how many rows of each colour to knit.
“What is that you’re knitting? - it’s horrendous!!” was my daughter’s reaction when she saw the first few inches.
When I replied that it was an afghan for my son going to college, his retort was “you really must hate me!”
I have to agree it is not looking very pretty at the moment but hopefully as it grows the eclectic mix will somehow come together. It certainly keeps your interest wondering what comes next.

Ha ha, no it’s not improving but I’m still laughing when I pull out the most horrible colour combinations - it will keep somebody warm anyway :)

Yay! finished this today and I quite like it after all:)
I did a three needle bind of to finish and as I had cast on with the cable method it was easy to pick up the cast on stitches each side of the tube and do the three needle bind off at the start.
I will miss this as it was my between projects project.
