I wanted a fuller border so that i can add a ribbon. At the completion of the last row I continued in pattern around the blanket and at the corners I ch 2, dc in same space, skip 2 dc, 2 dc in sc along †he width. I did the same for the length of the blanket and skipped 2 spaces, 2 dc in the next space. The next row I continued in pattern all around.
