The book is a classic full of “Mod” type patterns. The coat was created as a “Maxi” coat (first picture) which when worn was too long and heavy. I later cut the bottom and crocheted a hem. I used the piece cut from the hem tioadd an attached scarf. I also crocheted additional rows to build up the collar. In addition, I altered the sleeves to reduce the width.
