• Cast on 24 stitches using US size 3 dpns (not double holding yarn)
• Knit 1x1 ribbing for 9 rounds.
• Increase on round 10: K12, M1, K12, M1
• Knit in St St for 16 rows
• On row 17: K11, slip one K1 pass slipped stitch over, K11, slip one K1 pass slipped stitch over
• Row 18 begin pattern decreases:
  • Round 1: k2, k2tog around
  • Round 2: knit
  • Round 3: k1, k2tog around
  • Round 4: knit
  • Round 5: k2tog around

Next time I make these I won’t do the increases on round 10 (or the decreases on round 17). I also will never use this yarn again as it was so snaggy and fiddly to work with.

I liked how tatankagirl made little ribbon mitten clips for her mittens so I did the same. The video she shared in her pattern notes is in Chinese I believe but I was still able to figure it out. I bought the 7/8” ribbon and mitten/suspender clips from Hobby Lobby. Made sure to take a lighter to the edge of the ribbon after cutting it to keep it from fraying.
