Second time around knitting these booties.

Once again, I followed the original pattern instructions, knitting on my 3.25mm needles (US size 3) until it called for the first yarn break.

Instead of breaking the yarn, I followed user Powlettx’s project notes (which are awesome and I highly recommend incorporating them for less weaving in!) and purled 19 stitches instead of slipping them.

Followed the original pattern notes again until there was 33 stitches left on my needles. I turned and knit 9 stitches then purled the rest to the end. I switched to 2.75mm needles (US size 2) and purled the next row.

This set was knit as a Christmas gift for my sister who is due with my nephew January 15th, 2017.
