I honestly think this pattern will kill me. Don’t get me wrong, this is one of the BEST and MOST WELL WRITTEN pattern that I’ve worked on. But after finding mistake (mine, not the pattern) after mistake and ripping out one section only to re-crochet it…I’m getting a bit frustrated. I’m on my third redo of this section. I doubt that this blanket will ever get done. sighs

On to crochet some more. I won’t go to bed tonight until this third section is DONE!

Okay, this is finally starting to get on track. After ripping the third section out for the 3rd time, I managed to correctly attach the section of the shawl/blanket. And now I’m working on the last (fourth secton), YAY! :D

DONE! And I’m so happy to see that this worked! I must say I’m tempted to keep this. But I haven’t given that many blankets away this year. So after the fair next year, it will go and keep those who need it warm. :) Each section was about 2.5 skeins which left me with about one skein of yarn left to crochet the border on this.

The hearts were whimsical and weird, a good way to describe what I like. So is the color, since most people tend to use black or white. I will do this pattern again because I enjoyed crocheting this. :)
