The goal is to create Maurice from the animated movie Madagascar.
I’m modifying the Baby Alien Amigurumi pattern to be closer to Maurice’s proportions and colorway.

Notes on changes:
I tried to keep the same abbreviations as were in the original pattern. Use their link for explanations!

HEAD: No change (use gray).

EARS:
Made the ears significantly smaller and had them taper more quickly.

I’m fairly certain I got the tail pattern from Jen Hayes’ squirrel pattern. As far as I remember, I followed it without modification

Details

I also added detailing on the face using single chains of white, gray, and pink, and used yellow felt as backing for the eyes.

For the fur on ears and chest, I tied knots using the white yarn, frayed the ends, and either sewed them in place with regular white thread or used glue/fray check to hold in place.
