JANUARY 2022
Dug everything out and did a proper count. I’ve knit 352 hexis so far. My basket is newly setup in my living room and I’ll try to add a few more to the bin this year. No real rush, as usual :)

I also updated my math - I originally wanted a 21x29 row blanket which means I would need 599 hexis. That would mean 247 or just under 12 rows to go. I may want a bigger blanket now. We’ll see!

JULY 2021
Didn’t knit many hexis during the pandemic! Based on photos, I believe I’m at around 350 now. I had worked through most of my scraps early last year (only 2 hexis per yarn) but have a little collection built up again to work though. 7 years down, 7 to go? Lol

JANUARY 2019
Completed my annual hexi count yesterday and I have 313. Will knit for another year before deciding if I need to do any real colour management. So far, I think it looks okay and fairly balanced for a nice scrappy blanket!

JANUARY 2018
Counted my hexis on Dec 31 and am up to 221 plus another small stash of gifted ones. Will continue knitting whatever random minis I have for this year. At the end of 2018, I will sort them by colour to see what I need to do to balance them out. Still aiming for 580.

JANUARY 2017
Time to kind of make a plan! Using this nifty calculator, I think I need 580 hexis, over 21 columns and 29 rows.

I unpuffed my little stash of puffs!! I like the way the look all stacked up :) Off to find the next mini to knit up!
