I made my own personal touches to this playmat. First of all I wanted something my son could play with in the car and I wouldn’t have to search for the animals. So I chained an appropriate length and sewed to animal and playmat. Little did I realize how big this playmat was…it was still great for my two year old. I also added more holes for the carrot to slip into, and also added some heads of cabbage. I wanted to barn doors to open so the tractor could go inside, so I also changed that part. I added a pen for the pig, and rocks for the pond instead of flowers. I never got around to making the sheep, but I think there is enough going on with the mat…that it didn’t make a difference.
