Notes

The gorgeous yarn is from the talented yarn artist Dream Passion. It’s her yarn that gave me the idea of knitting this cozy shawl Cocoon Me from Rose. Mulberry leaves to silk cocoons to this cozy shawl.

I used up the two skeins to knit 13 repeats and 6 rows of garter stitch border.

Don’t want to loose the cocoon texture with heavy blocking, after washing, I just dried the shawl on the flat board with some pins.

Love the look and the texture. Another winning pattern from Rose.

Notes on “purl5tog”: it was quite tough at first, but after a few dozens cocoons, I had fun making them. If you are one of the knitters who dislikes purl stitches like me, I highly recommend this Cocoon. After hundreds of “purl5tog”, purl stitches seem to be less unattractive.
