Notes

I don’t think Sarah needs this cute capelet for a while when it’s so nice here in Vancouver. No dark and stormy sky in the next 7 day weather forecast.

Followed Thea’s instruction word by word, I knitted this cozy capelet with ease. She’s a great teacher and I trust her always.

I love the cables and they only look complicated.

There’s a big portion of The Plucky Knitters yarn in my stash, but strangely, this is my first project I use her yarn and Dark and Stormy is a gorgeous dark grey.

Note to self: You should stop petting and admiring beautiful yarn and start knitting them up.

I alternated two skeins of yarn on every two rounds at the first seam on non-increasing rounds. The turtle neck alone ate up almost one whole skein.

Another note to self: After having knitted quite a few projects , one thing I’ve learned that I must take notes on whatever I am knitting. In my case, the more I think I will remember when getting back to an unfinished project, the more I forget. Blame it on my aging brain, and also on the big number of UFO in my baskets.
