Love this pattern!

On line 4, I DC in the same stitch as the CH 2, eliminating the gap. Depending on what yarn I use, I SC all around, but finish off where line 4 had you begin slip stitching. I start again at the corner, after the SL ends (where the band meets the leg opening). It reduces the bulk, and matches up better.
