I wonder if the plural of baktus is bakti…

October 16th:
I didn’t want another triangle shaped shawl, so I’m making the decreases on the opposite side to the increases. The stripes won’t come out symmetrical because I’m using three skeins. I would’ve liked to make the scarf bigger, but the yarn was on sale when I bought it and when I went back to get more it was all gone. And yes, I guess the whole point of the Bactus scarf is to use up leftover skeins, but, you know, who cares, right? :)

It was fun to learn where the idea of a tooth troll originates from :D (There’s a link to the story on the page with the pattern.) I was never scared into brushing my teeth with stories of tooth trolls as a child, but I was aware of the concept. When I brushed my teeth, I felt sorry for the bacteria because I imagined them as trolls dying… :D Yeah.

Later the same day:
I finished it \o/ I had a bit of yarn left so I made a pom-pom. It came out kind of oblong and looked like an owl to me. So I gave the pom-pom a face, a beak and wings. :D
