This shawl turned out to be a rather easy and fast knit. It’s rather big hence the name Big Brown Bear Hug. It’s part of my “Hug me Now” shawl series. I’m on a kick.

Love the softness that the cashmere in the sock yarn and the shibui silk cloud, well it feels soft as a cloud.

Warm, light weight and practical. I will be wearing this shawl often.

Start with one sitch, increase every other row.
Knit eight row stripes with the sock yarn and four row stripes with the mohair.
