Notes

Got this yarn at half off in the Black Friday sales. Using 4 strands together softens the stripes, gives the fabric more of a kettle dyed look, which I really like.

Followed the pattern exactly, no mods. That said, if I did it again, instead of a picked-up band, I might cast on extra stitches on the fronts and carry the band “extension” up around the sleeves and back.

OK. I hated the band. A lot. So I took it off and will do something vertical and sewn on around the entire neckline. Won’t be as smooth as if I’d just cast on extra front stitches to start with, but I was never going to wear it with the band as it was. Wish me luck. wink
