Fun knit. Definitely a little snug on the recommended needles, so I made the beanie version (9 cable repeats) and it looks quite good with the negative ease. I’d like to make the slouch version as a gift, so I think I’ll go up to 7/8 US for that.

Took well under a skein, finished hat weighs 73.5 grams.
