Notes

I recycled the yarn from this sweater to make a jacket from an old Phildar magazine (photo 6). I modified the pattern (photo 7) and added buttons (because I might want to wear it buttoned).
The main attraction of this particular pattern was the basketweave stitch that looks good and is very easy to knit. Plus I wanted to try this sleeves-cum-upper-body-parts construction that seemed intriguing.
Final verdict - great fit and a fast knit.
