Don’t count on my yardage being correct -- these skeins were seconds largely for inconsistency in thickness.

The shawl was terminated at Row 103 (the second repeat of Row 69) because the fifth skein was an entirely different color, much yellower and brighter than the others.
I’d have liked to have finished the rest of the repeat, but the intended recipient is rather short and it’s probably fine for a 5’6”-ish frame.

If the shawl looks too abbreviated after blocking, I might crochet a lace border along the bottom.

Note: The fourth skein was browner, but it blended well because of the point in the pattern in which it was attached.

Update after blocking:

Whether because of the thick and thin nature of this yarn or previously unnoticed minor color shifts, the shawl has a beautiful tonal depth. And the thick and thin excuses my occasion lack of tensional fortitude.
I think it’ll be fine for the Preston County tundra.

I thought it would have blocked longer than 21”, but it should be ok.

The yarn bled a bit in washing, but the water was also a bit dark, and the last ball of yarn is no longer brown (though it is a more saturated yellow), so maybe the brown washed out.

I struggled with trying to straighten out the rib stitches (the double decreases) and although they were improved somewhat after pulling and pinning, they still look unruly. I suck at blocking, but it’s such a boring task. Hopefully as it’s worn, stitches will fall in place. (Does that happen?)
