My unique way of combining knitting (enjoyable) with A-Level Chemistry revision (less enjoyable)!
I might re-gift it to a friend next year when she has to learn the same module. For now, it’s a quirky decoration for my bedroom wall.
Squares worked separately with formulae embroidered on afterwards. Backed with a piece of fleece fabric (hand stitched around the edges and “quilted” along gridlines).
Note to chemists: Cr3+, for example, is shorthand for the hydrated chromium (III) complex ion. We also had to learn the colours of certain complexes containing ammonia and EDTA, but I decided to leave those out ;)
