2010-09-22: Had enough yarn for 9 pattern repeats and 12 rows of ribbing for each sock, with a comfortable amount left over. Whew!

I think the pattern would have stood out more if the yarn variegation was less bold -- the lace detail doesn’t stand out from the striping pattern formed by the yarn. But, they still look great.

2010-09-09: I wasn’t planning to knit any more socks, but then I had about 3/4 of a skein of this yarn left over from weaving, and thought I could probably wring a pair of socks out of it. Fingers crossed…
