join edges by grafting.
picked-up 80 st along the top edge. pick-up 3 out of 4 st 16 times (along the looser knit band). Pick-up 2/3 st along the rest of the tighter knit band.

Do not slip the selvedge st. Need elasticity along brim.

CO as instructed on US#10

Had to knit the hat to 21” to accommodate my 22.5” head since I slipped my selvedge st.

Yarn is from frogged Mario Beret.

Frogged. Will re-knit with smaller needles. Largest needle will be US7 & CO 3 st less (1 segment).
