Notes

This is a duplicate version of these wrist warmers I made back in April 2015. I made another set as my friend Sarah lost one of the original and was really sad as she loved them so much. I told her not to worry as I could make another pair exactly the same and this is them…a new pair for Sarah grin.

I loved making another pair, in fact I really enjoyed it. It was lovely working with this yarn again, it’s one of my favourite treat yarns and it’s perfect for this pattern. I love the softness of the yarn and I love these two colours together. In fact I’d love a pair myself. I think this is now the 4th or 5th time I have made this pattern and I can still see myself using it again, I recommend it all the time too. It’s a brilliant pattern and so many ways to change the look. I still have some of these lovely buttons too and they are a perfect match for this pattern I feel grin.

As always I follow this pattern and I only make one change, instead of starting with chain 3 or what it asks I replace it with a standing stitch version. I have done this with the last few pairs and it gives a better finish. For more details on this check out my previous projects of this pattern. Basically though whatever stitch that row is instead of starting with the chain number you do a standing stitch instead. Lots of great tutorials and videos on standing crochet stitches.

The only other thing I do differently ìs I add the buttons at the end, when I’ve done both wrist warmers. I find it easier this way smile and it’s a nice way to complete the pattern.
