I was so inspired by Chelsea (Legacy knitz) when she talked about her Meandering shawl at the podcast, a month ago. I’m doing a yarndiet this year, my decision is to use only yarn I have in stash for shawls, hats and socks. If I want to make a sweater, I will buy sweater quantities of yarn. This is my goal, because I really want to use all the pretty yarn I already have.

Meandering shawl is perfect for yarndiet and stashbusting.
I used DK weight or double fingering. I mixed all different bases, and natural fibers only.
I had only grey tones at one side and all the wonderful scraps, bits and pieces on the other side.
I did not knit the border, but I repeated the pattern until I got the size that I wanted, and did a Icord bindoff.
I wondered if I wanted tassels…..maybe I will add tassels later, we shall see.

The size is shlanket size, and I love it!
This will stay at our sofa.
