Our sample used just over 1200 m of the main yarn (Ulysse) because we did 3 swatches. We would recommend buying an extra ball for swatching.

Our knitter noted that the Italian sewn bind off at the wrist was a bit challenging due to the yarn sticking to itself. Because the sleeves aren’t tight fitting, she would have bound off in pattern instead.
