For anyone who thinks of sequins as a neutral or anyone looking for a woolly alternative to a statement necklace, this simple cowl combines two sequined yarns for a shimmery treat to wear to holiday parties or just to the grocery store.

Our sample and our kits use colourways as similar to each other as possible, but combining contrasting colours would make for an even showier cowl.

Our sample used one ball of Concept by Katia Sky in Dark Grey and one ball of Lana Gatto Paillettes in Silver. We held these two sequinned yarns together to great a doubly sparkly fabric.

Measured flat, the sample is 27cm/10.75” wide at the top, 30cm/12” wide at the bottom, and 20cm/8” long. The slightly flared shape helps the cowl fit nicely around your neck and chin and provides a bit of extra fabric for drape at the bottom.
