Our sample used 2 balls each of Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair and Sunday in Sailor in the Dark. We only dipped into a second ball of both yarns to make our sample, but you may be able to make the hat with only one of each if you reuse your swatch or make the hat a bit shorter.
